The skin is really
pretty
useful. I used it still attatched to the block as the back surface of
some hip pads and cut it in as sheet @ 1/8 " thick for use as padding
for feet (skin out), seat, (skin down) and even made a pair of hand
paddles with them as top sheet on thin fiberglass . after a while of
testing these applications I feel the skins have at least 2
outstanding
attributes: 1) The surface is more durable and does not rip, shred,
erode or tear as quickly as the bare minicell surface and 2) The bond
(with Weldwood Contact Cement ) to plastic surfaces seems way
superior. I have not had my hip pads tear out since I installed them (80 days
of hole playing) and the handpaddles laminated very well. Thanks for
letting me try the stuff.
thanks again
,
the stuff is great! Steve Barry
