How to size for AT Touring paddles |
All AT Touring paddles are molded with the shaft and blade as one unit. This
makes the AT have a very light swing weight and uniform flex. This also means you must give some extra attention
to sizing your paddle to make sure you get full benefit from the ergonomic advantage. Below are some sizing
guidelines to help. Usually you will stay with the same legnth you currently use in a straight shaft
paddle. Generally shorter people (smaller frames) will need smaller paddles. If your grip tends to be narrower
or wider adjust the sizing accordingly. We reccomend that you do not go more than 4 cm from the suggested
sizing range.
| <5'3 | 5'6" | 5'9" | 6'0" | 6'3" | 6'6"> |
| <222cm | 222-226cm | 224-228cm | 226-230cm | 228-232cm | 232cm> |

As a point of reference a 235cm paddle will have 27 centimeters (10.8inches) of width between the index fingers. |
