We prefer the ATX over the AT2 for ocean surfing, finicky holes, and anywhere you need power to climb back on the foam pile. This is a high torque/ low rep paddle with more "bite" than anything you will ever use.

Dihedral power face with the AT "micro-eddy" A true zero flutter blade. Super stable dihedral blade integrates with the backface for the best feel you could imagine. Positively floaty like the best wood blades makes it ideal for longer boat paddling and strong bracing.  Smooth all around performance make this the downriver favorite but always right at home surfing.
